Join us on board our research vessel in Neustadt Bay from 22 August

As part of the sailingLAB, young people from 10 to 16 can experience marine research up close. For two hours, they have the opportunity to get to know the practical basics of scientific work on the ship. They can formulate hypotheses, observe, experiment and draw conclusions. In this way, young people get to work on aquatic ecology issues relating to the smallest sea in the world. The excursion sensitizes the young people to a sustainable approach to aquatic habitats, the ocean and inland waters. In this way, the German Ocean Foundation aims to inspire young people to protect our ocean.
