“A sustainable blue economy in Germany - dream or absolute necessity?”

The ocean is at a crossroads - for Germany too. A sustainable blue economy promises both economic growth and marine protection. But how realistic is this approach for Germany? What course do politics, business and science need to set today in order to combine the ecological balance with economic development?

During our next parliamentary evening on 23 September 2025 we will discuss opportunities, challenges and concrete options for action. Presentations from both theory and practice and a lively debate with representatives from politics, business, science and civil society are to be expected.
