Networking, conversations and visions at the GO.GRØØN fair in Lübeck

Sustainable living, social responsibility and green innovations took centre stage at the GO.GRØØN fair in Lübeck. Among the participants was the German Ocean Foundation, which represented the themes of marine and ocean conservation and engaged visitors in thought-provoking discussions at its stand.

From 25 to 26 April, over 70 exhibitors of all kinds gathered at the GO.GRØØN fair – ranging from non-profit organisations to companies from a wide variety of sectors. The fair offered a valuable opportunity to network with stakeholders from the region and to exchange ideas on shared visions for a sustainable Northern Germany.

We also had many interesting conversations and valuable exchanges with visitors. In addition, numerous people showed great interest in our work on marine conservation, particularly in the SeaExperience Days and the research at sea competition.

The fair has once again demonstrated how important face-to-face encounters and direct conversations are for raising awareness of the protection and importance of the oceans and for forging new connections.
