Ocean Forum on 21 January in Düsseldorf

The Ocean Forum of the German Ocean Foundation took place on 21 January on the Water Pixel World stage of the “love your ocean” initiative at boot Düsseldorf. Representatives from universities, NGOs and researchers spoke at the forum, addressing topics such as deep-sea mining, ocean literacy, octopus intelligence and European marine policy. The Ocean Forum focuses on the seven outcomes of the UN Ocean Decade, proclaimed by UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) in 2021.
