The German Ocean Foundation looks back on a successful year for the project “Sustainable Impact – The Common Good in Water Sports and the Maritime Sector”.
Our video summarises the highlights of 2025 – a year in which we worked closely with companies, start-ups and associations to further advance sustainability and the common good in the maritime sector.
What defined 2025:
Practical dialogue with companies shaping sustainable transformation under real-world economic conditions
Joint efforts to strengthen a focus on the common good as an attitude, guiding principle and future-oriented competence
Many concrete ideas on how environmental responsibility and social impact can be implemented in everyday maritime life
Our collaboration with various companies in particular has shown that they are key drivers of sustainable change, closely attuned to operational challenges whilst remaining open to innovative solutions.
